Workplace Campaigns

The programs and services of Piedmont United Way are supported by voluntary contributions through the annual United Way Campaign. The majority of contributors give where they work through easy payroll deduction where a little is taken out of each paycheck and therefore they support United Way's services year-round.

If you are a Federal Government employee,

you can contribute to the Piedmont United Way, or any United Way Member Agency through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). You may designate your contribution to the Piedmont United Way by using CFC code number 13502 on your CFC Pledge form. For a list of CFC code numbers for United Way Member Agencies, see the 2013 CFC Listing.

If you are a Virginia State Government employee,

you can contribute to the Piedmont United Way, or any United Way Member Agency through the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC). You may designate your contribution to the Piedmont United Way by using CVC code number 4500 on your CVC Pledge form. For a list of CVC code numbers for United Way Member Agencies, see the 2013-14 CVC Listing.

If your employer is located outside of the Piedmont United Way geographic area,

you can usually designate your contribution to the Piedmont United Way through the United Way campaign where your work. United Ways will honor designations to the United Way where a contributor lives, but often you have to ask.

If your employer is located in the five-county Piedmont United Way area

(Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock Counties), you can contribute to the Piedmont United Way through your employer's United Way Campaign. If your employer does not run a United Way campaign, and you would like to get a campaign started, see the following guides:
