Your Donation Makes A Difference
How Much Should I Give?
Your contribution makes a big difference in the lives of people in our five-county area.
Roughly one person per every five in our area is touched by a United Way program or service.
How much you give is up to you. Many people ask, however, how much they should consider giving. United Way's basic guideline for many years has been one-hour's pay per month. This amounts to 6/10 of one percent of your pay and when you used easy payroll deduction you will hardly notice it. You may also want to consider a larger donation of 1 % or 1 ½ % of your pay.
Give where you live.
If you commute to work, be sure to designate your contribution to the Piedmont United Way. If you work for the Federal government you can designate #13502 on your CFC pledge form. If you work for the Commonwealth of Virginia you can designate # 4500 on your CVC pledge form. If you give through another United Way campaign, please write in the Piedmont United Way. Read more on the page about Workplace Campaigns.
You can make a financial gift to Piedmont United Way right now by using your credit card, checking account

You can also donate via the Network for Good web site - www.networkforgood.org.
